Following a road traffic accident 8 years ago ,I have a long term leg injury. I have gained 5 stone in weight, lost my self respect , a much loved nursing career and any hope of meeting a new life partner. I had reached a time in my life where I really needed to tackle my weight issues.

My self esteem and confidence were at an all time low, I had next to no will power, I was completely stuck in a rut , but lacked the motivation to find the way forward.

Sarah has given me the key to opening the door onto the rest of my life.Since late september I have lost 26lbs, a first in my long battle against obestity.This has given me a huge boost in self confidence, I m actually starting to like my self again.

Although I still have a significant amount of weight to lose, I feel confidentthat I will achieve my goal. I have been successful in gaining a place on the return to practice course at university. I hope to recommence my nursing career very shortly. I have even considered dating again….steady, one step at a time!!

With her skills, compassion and humour, Sarah has helped me to help myself, I cant thank her enough.

Hypocondria/ Negative Thinking

I visited Sarah to help me think more positively as I believe that a more positive attitude will help me deal with stress and help me with my health issues. After two sessions I felt more relaxed and generally happier. Sarah supplied me with a recording that reinforced the positive messages she had given me and listening to this every day has made a big improvement to my general outlook. It also helps me to deal with stress; I’ve found listening to the recording during the day has helped me deal with work pressure. Other people have noticed a change in me also; my wife remarked that since the therapy I am a more cheerful person and am more willing to go out and do things.

Wasp /Bee Phobia

Just  a quick note to say thank you very much for the treatment for my wasp phobia. It has had a real impact and my fear of wasps. I feel more in control and rarely notice wasps anymore which would have been almost impossible to imagine 3 months ago. Not what I expected at all but in a very good way, as did not really hold out much hope prior to the treatment.

Flying Phobia (Aviophobia)

 I used Sarah’s services to resolve my anxiety of flying. I used to enjoy flying very much and as I lived in Australia a few years, I was comfortable even in long transcontinental commutes. I used to travel regularly, at least every 6 weeks, but last year I stopped for nearly 10 months. I kept postponing family visits and even holidays making up excuses. Then Sarah came along and we had a very thorough conversation about my problem, and anything that could be related to it. I need to say that after the first session I felt more relaxed in general, I could tell that something was changed, and even more so after every listen of the mp3.Then the day came and I was on a plane for a 5 hours flight: take off went really well, I relaxed and I was able to enjoy my book, my ipod and have a nice time. Then it turned out to be one of the bumpiest flight of my life, one of those times when the captain invites all passengers to sit and fasten their seatbelts while the craft is jumping up and down in the open space. After a second or two of panic, I was surprised to notice how calmer I became without having to do any thinking.
But the most interesting thing has been that any other flight since, has been better than the previous. Since the therapy I have now travelled by plane 6 times, and once there was even a problem before landing, but I feel always relaxed and normal. I do things like watching outside the window and even taking pictures of the land below, or I get up and go to the toilet, which I was too tense to do before the treatment. And most important, I now wait for the beginning of my holidays thinking of the amazing places I am going to visit, without that unpleasant stress.

Fear of Heights (Snowboarding) 

Dear Sarah,
I hope that you are well. Just thought I would update you on my progress as I’m out in Tignes this week. It is really quite amazing but the slope that terrified me last time is now fine for me! I can see that it is steep but don’t feel scared by it and can get up and snowboard down it with the rest of my class! I can’t believe the transformation and how much more relaxed I feel. Thankyou so very much.
I really am very grateful for the work that you did, it really has helped me a lot.
