Boost Confidence

Confidence can be boosted with hypnosis

People who are optimistic, have a  generalised sense of confidence about their future, accompanied by their broad expectancy that their future outcomes, are likely to be positive ones.

On the other hand, low confidence is usually accompanied by a pessimistic outlook.  If you don’t believe you can do something, then that can seriously get in the way of you achieving it.

It is said that the more confidence you have in your ability to do something, the more secure you think about your ability to do that thing, which creates a positive effect which leads to improved performance.

One of the things that many people don’t really think about is the difference between self confidence and self esteem.

They think they are the same thing, but there’s a difference.

I had a client who was confident in her ability to past her exams but  felt crushed when she only scored 95% in an exam. She felt disappointed and that she had let herself and others down, which was evident to me, that she had high confidence in her ability but low self esteem.

Insecurity affects us all in some form or another, consciously or subconsciously.

There is something referred to as Orr’s Law, what the thinker thinks, the prover prooves. This means we get the future we think about. So if we think we are going to do something badly, then the brain has a way of making that happen for us.

Overcoming this self-doubt starts with honestly assessing your strengths (and any weaknesses) and then start work on improving and correcting them.

Your music teacher was right, practice does make perfect. The best way to improve confidence in a given area is to invest energy and work on it.

Improve confidence in different areas of your life.

I work with clients to help them improve their confidence in a whole range of areas,  such as public speaking, music performance, acting, dance, and sports performance.

As a keen skier, I find it really rewarding to work with clients to improve their confidence in their skiing ability so that they can push themselves to achieve whatever it is that they want to achieve.

Whether it’s that black run, or off piste or just starting off doesn’t matter. Confidence is a big part of the process of any learning exercise.

With public performance, confidence is a key part of the solution for any professional. It’s not just about getting rid of the fear, it’s about improving and maximising potential.

I encourage and help motivate my clients to stretch themselves and take themselves out of their comfort zone to achieve whatever it is they want to achieve. By using hypnosis, Advanced New Code NLP, it’s remarkable how different you can feel in just a few sessions.
